Speaking of dynasty's, the Habsburg Dynasty was still a ruling entity of a nation state until 1918

They were still in power during 5 of tsun's 11* claimed NC's

A 397 year old dynasty saw more tsun NC's than anyone alive today
The Ottoman Empire was around until 1922... they just barely missed fighting in The Crusades (just missed it, officially, by eight years... I guess you could say people that lived in the Ottoman Empire fought in The Crusades? Annnnnyways....).

They still only witnessed the glory of 5 tsun NC's

Oddly enough next year marks the 100th anniversary of that fabled 1918 NC meaning 5 of their 10.5 NC's will be over 100 years old.

LOL

http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/rutgers-currently-our-best-win

Is Rutgers currently our best win?

Since Peters is now the starting qb I can only assume Michigan is going to win out the rest of the season a la usc last year and I was looking at some schedules to see how high I thought we could climb in the rankings if we did that. Then I realized that Rutgers or at Purdue are the best wins this year and realized we weren't going to climb high.

Florida 3-4 fired their coach after giving up 42 points to a team that threw the ball 7 times and below rutgers in s&p

cincy 2-6

air force 4-4 other potential best win of the season because they are the only win at or over .500 but lost to new mexico

purdue 3-5 and lost to rutgers and nebraska so probably not best win but was on the road.

Indiana 3-5 and just gave up 42 points in a loss to maryland.

I fully expect us to win the next two games and have at least a competitive game against wisconsin but yeesh our wins are shit.

Has to be a troll. I refuse to believe any true Michigan man could possibly have figured that out.
Nope. This is the giveaway; this is as Michigan Man as you get: "Since Peters is now the starting qb I can only assume Michigan is going to win out the rest of the season"

Brandon Peters came off the bench to complete 10 passes for a 124 yards. Obviously, this is a predictor that they're ready to stand toe-to-toe with Ohio State. They're going to win.

We're doomed.

I just realized that if you go to Google and search for "Michigan starting QBs" you get a recent name dump like they're the Cleveland Browns of college football. Nine names on the list since Chad Henne, and even that moron didn't beat OSU once. Not a surprise really, given his mother fucking joke status and all. Peters is going to make it ten.

Denard Fucking Robinson is the only QB since John Navarre to beat Ohio State. By the way, that 2003 contest was the last football game John Navarre won in his entire football career.

That's right! Beyond Shoelaces 'W' in the lost 2011 campaign, the last Michigan QB to beat Ohio State is now 37 years old and hasn't played football at any level for 12 years.
