don't take this as any kind of endorsement of what those clowns up north said, but files are made of iron and are used to sharpen blades.
I actually think that makes a lot of sense.

You can sharpen iron in the most efficient and effective way using a whetstone:

Or you can do a worse job in a longer amount of time using another piece of iron:

At the NFL’s annual scouting combine, Michigan sent the most players of any team in 2017, with 14 invitees. That tied the number Ohio State sent last year, in a spring when the Buckeyes saw three of their players picked in the top 10 of the NFL draft and five in the first round. Although Michigan won’t come close to matching those numbers at the top of the draft—only defensive end Taco Charlton and safety Jabrill Peppers are expected to be among the first 32 players picked this year—its attendance in Indianapolis is just another sign that the Harbaugh model is working.

:hoke:

Ah yes.... the model that's given us the single most over hyped player since Ron Powlus' 4 Heisman's and a dude that was able to put up 5 reps on the bench after running just under 4.7 at this year's underwear Olympics. I guess it's better than fat garbage man signing moped boy, though.

"the Harbaugh model is working", based on combine invites? He didn't recruit any of these guys.

And to expand on this... The SI writer Joan Niesen is claiming that Harbaugh has:
taken another coach’s players, guys Brady Hoke recruited, and made them the No. 10 team in the country last season. He’s coached good players into the NFL, and that’s the best a school or a player can hope for.

Well some of us might recall, that other guy Hoke (who supposedly recruited "good players" who got NFL'd up by the Harbaugh model) had back-to-back top-5 classes in 2012 and 2013 - and he landed Peppers in 2014 too.

Sticking just with B1G schools -

Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Northwestern have all finished a seasons during Hairball's tenure better than 3rd in their division.

And.. I mean.. Bama and Clemson have national titles in that time frame.... Still, that's only 8 teams that have it better.

But, then... their highest final ranking was 10th, so... last year, Oklahoma, Washington, USC and Florida State also had it better and thus added to the list... and then, in 2015 you would have to include Stanford (who have the unique position of also not having to deal with that asshat roaming their athletic department any more, which seems to be quite a bit of a win too) TCU, and Houston.

So... at least 15 teams, from my count, have it better than scUM.
