It has ebbed and flowed; Michigan dominant early, OSU charged in the 50's and 60's, even in the 70's for ten year war, Michigan dominant in 80's and 90's, OSU dominant since 2000.

Head to head by decade:

Interestingly James Howell's database does not list Ohio State as a 'major' (modern 1A equivalent) during most of the period before the 1920's.

20's 4-6
30's 5-5
40's 2-6-2

50's 5-5
60's 7-3
70's 5-4-1
80's 4-6
90's 2-7-1
00's 8-2
10's 5-1

A total of 94 games played during that span, with the Bucks up 51-41-2 (.543).

Muck has his 1940's incorrect: the Buckeyes were 2-6-2 during that decade.

So from 1920 to date, Ohio State leads the series 47-45-4 (.510 winning percentage).

A better starting point is 1919, the Buckeyes' first win in The Game. Before then (1897 to 1918), Ohio State was 0-13-2 (.067 winning percentage). Since then (1919 to 2015), Ohio State is 48-45-4 (.515 winning percentage).

Here's a LINK to the results of every game in the series.

EDIT: Since 1919, Ohio State also has twice as many NCAA-recognized national championships as Michigan:

Ohio State: 8 (1942, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1970, 2002, 2014)
Michigan: 4 (1923, 1933, 1948, 1997)

Here's a LINK to the NCAA-recognized national champions.
