Carr did a hell of a lot better than Hoke and Rodriquez previously did. His big fault was that he lost games he shouldn't have to lesser opponents.Yeah I know Ohio St. owned us even when Carr was the coach. However, most of those games were close and a couple of breaks we could have won a few of those games. 2001- we lose by 6 points. 2002- we lose by 5 points. 2004- was a blow out. 2005-lose by 4 points. 2006-lose by 3 points. Most of those games were 1 score games. We were competing for Big Ten 10 championships every year. Rich Rod comes in an it drops off to getting hammered 42-7. Recruiting falls off. Carr had several players in the NFL drafted and those players were making a huge impact winning super bowls, winning MVPs, defensive player of the year, multiple pro bowlers. Michigan isn't getting many players drafted now days. So yeah, getting back to those days would be a damn good start.
