theHarbrau stands 2-4 all-time vs. top-10 teams, the two wins being the 24-23 shocker over USC in 2007, and a 51-42 win over a decent Oregon team in 2009 (the team tOSU stomped in the Rose Bowl).

the losses weren't typically pretty...23-27 (sparty), 13-42 (tOSU), 31-52, and 23-45.
But the Michigan fans have assured me that Harbaugh with lesser recruits vs Urban will turn out just like Harbaugh with lesser recruits vs Pete Carroll. Are you telling me it wasn't a routine thing that Harbaugh just throws together a bunch of people he found in the parking lot and went out and beat teams stacked with NFL talent?

It's been a rough week:

8/20 - UM shows how badly they impersonate Silverman

8/221 - OSU adds two 5-star verbals, making it arguably the best class ever (with more coming)

8/22 - Michigan loses two 4-star commitments, one over another marketing blunder (with 3 bad mistakes):

8/23 - Michigan loses a third decommitment in 2 days

8/24 - The "Gift Six" in lego form

8/25 - Those who already stayed...

We still have two more days, and Harbaugh has not spoken yet:

Their last top 10 win was in 2008 against a Wisconsin team that finished 7-6, lol.

And Wisconsin chocked in that game. We had Rich Rod and Hoke. Rich Rod is an expert on naming the top 10 trailer parks in America and Hoke is an expert on naming the top 10 buffets. As much as Carr lost games he shouldn't have, he was 19-8 vs Top Ten teams and a lot of those loses were close.

So 7 years later a program trying to get back to where Carr already had it.

Carr did a hell of a lot better than Hoke and Rodriquez previously did. His big fault was that he lost games he shouldn't have to lesser opponents.Yeah I know Ohio St. owned us even when Carr was the coach. However, most of those games were close and a couple of breaks we could have won a few of those games. 2001- we lose by 6 points. 2002- we lose by 5 points. 2004- was a blow out. 2005-lose by 4 points. 2006-lose by 3 points. Most of those games were 1 score games. We were competing for Big Ten 10 championships every year. Rich Rod comes in an it drops off to getting hammered 42-7. Recruiting falls off. Carr had several players in the NFL drafted and those players were making a huge impact winning super bowls, winning MVPs, defensive player of the year, multiple pro bowlers. Michigan isn't getting many players drafted now days. So yeah, getting back to those days would be a damn good start.

Your thoughts on Bill Martin? And/or the Les Miles rumors (specifically his philandering in the early 90s coming back to stop his hiring circa 2008).
