Those are all great facts, but the NCAA recognizes only nine national championships for TTUN: (1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1918, 1923, 1933, 1948, 1997). Like Alabama, Michigan claims bogus national championships (1932, 1947) on their official website. So to update your numbers:

5 of their 9 NCs occurred before the end of the Austro-Hungarian Empire;
7 of their 9 NCs occurred before the surrender of Japan ending WWII;
8 of their 9 NCs occurred before Harry S. Truman defeated Thomas Dewey; and only
1 of their 9 NCs occurred in the last 67 years.
