If the staff was recruiting him, then obviously they saw something in him. Again, I was just looking for clarification. Thanks
Obviously not his brains.

That's pretty awesomeEh, much ado about nothing, imo.
I give almost as many fux about this as I do about anyone who whines about having the score run up on them (regardless of whether it's legitimate butthurt or not).
Incidentally, I find the story about the Tennessee recruit who was sent home from his Auburn visit for actively recruiting other kids to Tennessee a lot more humorous.....

And then you come into a man's home and basically say the same thing to his son? Yep, that's going over well...http://www.newspaper...spage/17289477/
Purdue's football team has lost sophomores Bryan Madden, Kevin Strickland and Abe Hoskins this season because of academic ineligibility, Coach Fred Akers said Wednesday.
Now some Michigan fans saying I don't have grades come on! 3.4 core gpa I think I'm doing just fine!

Abe Hoskins said they told Michigan not to waste the money to have head coach Jim Harbaugh come in for a visit this week because they were leaning toward Nebraska and just listening to U-M.
Ironically, Hoskins was the one pushing Michigan on his son because of its academic reputation.
"I was leaning toward Michigan," Neal's father said. "Academics, stats. My thing is he might not ever play again in his life, but that degree is going to take him everywhere."
Neal wasn't buying the pitch quite as much.
"I know they wanted me to come and play there, they wanted to put me to play with (recent Nebraska flip) Reuben (Jones) and put me in scheme and explain academically and this and that what's came out of Michigan, the connections and all of that," he said. "I'm like, here in Omaha, Neb., we've got Warren Buffett, so that's all we need, pretty much."
I hope this kid trolls those bastards up north his entire time in Lincoln.Okay, there's more on this. About his grades....the kid says:
Just an FYI - here in OPS, that's an A- average. Not bad for a kid at an inner city metro school.
But that's not all the kid says. He also said his father wanted him to go to TSUN because the degree would carry him farther than if he went to Nebraska.
I get the logic. Apparently, that's not what the kid is thinking:
I love this kid already.
With Mattison not being allowed to comment on the whole situation, there's really not much to even discuss. Not sure if GM will ever get to tell his side of the story. Until that happens, all we get is this kid and his dad on social media telling their side of the story.
.
This right here makes me think that Neal's story is legit because if Mattison could clear the air by saying something, I am sure he would have been encouraged to do so.With Mattison not being allowed to comment on the whole situation,
He can't speak publically about a recruit not committed to tsun. This right here makes me think that Neal's story is legit because if Mattison could clear the air by saying something, I am sure he would have been encouraged to do so.
