I remember after Vince Young torched them in the Rose Bowl the same morons at the same site were:
- making fun of Tressel for recruiting so many DB's (because who needs to ever cover more than 2 WR's am I right?)
- Predicting domination because Ron English was going to stay on as DC
- To add to the hilarity of the English dream, they were citing his hip, young blackness as a major recruiting tool

Well, in that pissing match you two had, it looks like old WolverineMike pretty much rolled you.
All JT did was go 9/15 for 113 yards and a TD passing, and 19 carries for 139 yards and 3 TDs running.

As of right now its for the bowl game. Durkin was in charge of LB's. Moving him into the vacant role allows him to actually hit the road recruiting instead of recruiting from campus.

Probably a trial basis for the bowl game. He doesn't have much to work with though in regards to LBs. But if it helps get Gary in the door, I'm all for it.

I don't doubt that one bit, but still, they aren't going to blindly hand the reigns over to guy with only HS experience on his resume. At least I would hope not. If the bowl game is a disaster, I could see him being promoted to "Co" something.

Plan B: With all that "video game training", I'm sure Jay-Bo Harbaugh would be up to the task too.

It's not really a debate, he would have left for Maryland but he was told he is going to be promoted he wants to coach at the college level it's his dream. Wouldn't CO something be a step in the direction he's trying to head?

Who's debating? I'm sure he was promised something already with an agenda of it helping UM land Gary. Letting him coach the LBs for the bowl game lets him officially get out on the road and recruit. He's already in Florida taking over Durkins visits, an extremely smart move. His bowl game tryout is going to determine how much of a promotion they give him is what I'm saying. His HS track record speaks for itself. But it's still only HS.
