A friend of mine(MSU fan) was at a scUM bar when it happened. He described it like "the look of disbelief on their faces, it was like they just saw the broadcasts of 9/11 for the first time"
Well, no. The right call was to punt it. But when they saw msu was going for the block (which should have been obvious), they should have moved to a max protection punt. Heck, they probably should have been in it from the time they sent the punt team out.Easier than calling out his manball offense for not being able to pick up the first down that would have iced it or his decision to punt instead of go for it at midfield with 10 seconds left
Every time I have a bad day...I will just smile about why this went viral

Maybe there should be a sign outside Michigan Stadium, kind of like one of those at an amusement park, "YOU MUST BE THIS TALL TO RIDE THE COMET." This one would say "YOU MUST OLD ENOUGH TO NOT CRY IF MICHIGAN LOSES TO ENTER."
Yeah. I think 10 seconds is a little to long to try that with Jake Ruddock. He takes much of a loss before time expires and MSU has a chip shot field goal for the win.I remember a play in the mid nineties when Steve Young took the snap and ran backwards for 20 or 30 yards to run off the final seconds of the game in a similar situation.
That's because Steve Young could outrun the other team. Now then - Jake Ruddock, Suga Shane...I remember a play in the mid nineties when Steve Young took the snap and ran backwards for 20 or 30 yards to run off the final seconds of the game in a similar situation.

In the final analysis the football gods just don't like TTUN.
