I don't think critical thinking is a part of the Kinesiology curriculum.Except for Will Johnson's dad apparently.

Key was never coming. If we get this kid and flip the WR from LA, committed to ND, we'll be in good shape.
I guess it depends on what your definition of "good shape" is.
Again...standards...I think we've established that it means "we've got a body to play the position"

No exaggeration, if the player might be a starter at some point, they consider them a B1G caliber recruit, and therefore good.Again...standards...

Their evaluation process is completely ass backwards and ignores that literally anyone could end up a starter under the right circumstances (i.e. their recruiting continues to be awful and they have no other options) and make them “quality” under there “do they end up starting? if yes then it was an evaluation and development success no matter what they actually do on the field” system.
It’s a bottomless pit of stupid—our current players don’t do anything notable (but they’re playing, so quality depth!), making it very likely that this next group of players will have a chance to play quickly (regardless of their low ranking), making them a solid group (ignoring the high probability that they also will do nothing notable due to the lack of quality), which brings us back to the first step. When it comes to the position group currently in question, under Harbaugh, Michigan has comically failed to develop WRs. It's probably a good part of the reason they don't throw the ball now, their WRs struggle to get open against anyone that isnt a MAC team blowing coverage. Even IF they had a "Elite" QB it would still be a clown show for them trying to throw too much.
The fact that they watch 4 and 5* (Well I guess DPJ is the only one who falls in this category) WR struggle in the system and then cheer that its "a good haul" to have a WR class with a couple of low 3*s is classic DFBIA.
Walker already passed on scUM once, so what's the new selling point halfway into the season? We can develop you into a 6th round draft pick? You can average 7 yards receiving per game like A.J. Henning, our highest-rated WR prospect in the last 4 recruiting classes? You can be the next speed-in-space superstar like Roman Wilson? We've got a spot open now that Tay'shawn Trent got smart and dropped us?The ND WR in question is Amorion Walker. 520th nationally #36 ATH. He is the lowest rated member of NDs class currently.

Through 7 games, scUM's top 3 WRs have 37 receptions for 650 yards and 5 TDs combined, which is pretty much what Garrett Wilson has on his own (36 receptions, 605 yards, 6 TDs). A WR prospect would be making a suspect career choice to attend the University of Michigan.
You omitted 1 small detail - Garrett Wilson has spent the majority of the 2nd half on the bench for 5 of those 7 games. I'd love to see those stats per play.Walker already passed on scUM once, so what's the new selling point halfway into the season? We can develop you into a 6th round draft pick?
