Is this factual?They’re not abiding by the 85 scholarship limit by paying for all transfers through NIL and not putting them on scholarship (which, again, you’d think the NCAA would want to do something about since it’s clearly against the spirit and intention of that rule), so their recruiting philosophy seems to be getting as many bodies as possible in the pipeline and processing them until (they hope) they find a few starters.
As you said, the COVID year (and cheating their way out of the 85 scholarship limit) was hugely beneficial to that process, but now we can all hope it comes crashing back to earth.
