I'd expect it too, if I was part of a group that was told how great they were all year long despite strong evidence to the contrary. Of course the season ending ass kicking at home by your rival wasn't a wake up call.....why would it be?

I at least expected it to be competitive. In actuality it was a wake up call to the talent difference in the two programs at that point.
