I do think misnaming his assistant may be a telling mistake. This job requires extreme attention to detail. Erring on the name of the main recruiter on your coaching staff is evidence of a lack of respect for your subordinates, a lack of the appropriate level of concern for details, and possibly a lack of 100% buy-in by the head coach.

It would be consistent with their other high profile/former player turned coach/"we're going to need an army of handlers for this imbecile" hire

ttun picks up another nazi: mo wagner's brother franz. chose ttun over pro ball in germany. small forward. will play this season.

skunkbears are ecstatic, but i'm thinking that they're inflating his ability and his impact. of the 15 or so players who got meaningful minutes during last year's eurocup (24 games), all but one player averaged more minutes and more points. franz averaged 2.4 points in 9.5 minutes. he appears to be a solid shooter (about 40%), but there is not much else he does. average or below-average athleticism. not a rebounder. probably a questionable defender. while alba berlin plays top competition, i'm not seeing a player who will come in and make a big impact like the fans up there are assuming. they do need shooting, though, which wagner should offer.

I read a UM fan saying Franz will be a 1st round pick next year. We shall see about that.
