This is still pretty hilarious. Especially the part about them thinking Shaka was coming up to coach them, but in reality he came to poach their only other competent coach.

rumors floating around that simpson's suspension is due to some traffic incident over the weekend. perhaps dui or doobie.
osu plays at ttun next tuesday, which will be their third game. hoping the suspension lasts at least that long. we're not in a pad-the-résumé position, so i don't care if we win because the opponent is sub-100%. heck, i hope livers is out, too.

1. simpson crashed into a pole at 3 a.m on a weekend.
2. simpson lied about his name.
3. simpson lied about being the driver, as well as being involved in the crash at all.
4. simpson reported by the police as "stumbling."
5. simpson crashed the car registered to the athletic director's wife.
and...
6. simpson was not given a breathalyzer test.

apparently, simpson and some teammates were at a sports bar that night. i'm sure he didn't drink, though.
might be the first time in recorded history that a black man crashing his car at 3 a.m. wasn't given a breathalyzer despite lying to the police about his identity and his involvement, as well as being seen stumbling.
