Whatever the amount, they can take the increased ticket prices for football to cover it. That's the only way I'll agree with the ticket prices being raised.

i'm agreeing with you, mike, and it's not because i'm an ohio state fan. if your team keeps it within 15, i'll be impressed. rose's "uncle tom" comments surely didn't help your cause. coach k won't let off the gas pedal because of that. if irving is productive early on, you're toast.

I have to say that I find it rather comical that, on the basis of a win over a Tennessee team that was in ruins, suddenly TSUN fans want to pull out the black socks.

Proud that Michigan came back from 15 points down instead of mailing it in. They did the same against Ohio St. in the big ten toruney. They may not be that good, but to see your team fight to the end despite the score can make any fan proud.

Michigan shot 63% from inside the arc to 33% from the outside. They also shot 91% from the FT line. I just wish Michigan would push the ball more and fast break more. I wish Hardaway would drive to the hoop more and use his mid range game. Still a great effort.

Your boys done good, zwem. I thought they were toast when they went down 15. I was hoping they'd pull it off, although my motivations were more anti-Duke than pro-Michigan. :wink2:

I was at the game with a friend of mine who is an alum from Indiana. After watching Duke play on Thursday I told him the officials are good for 5-6 points going Duke's way. I watched them Thursday hold, push and out and out foul the other team on defense at will with no calls from the refs.

He looked at me like I was joking and told me it couldn't have been "that bad." After the first half today against Scum, he told me that the 5-6 point spread because of the officials was in his words "too conservative." Duke got away with alot on the defensive end and the officiating was atrocious (especially in the first half). It evened out a little bit in the second half, however as Nolan Smith carried Duke to the win today. Good showing by Scum....
