ttun basketball (Juwan out, Dusty May in)

Morris is a player and would see action on most B10 squads, the rest of the guys, probably not so much this season. They'll be the same team they've been for most of the last 15 years...they'll win a couple they shouldn't, but lose a whole lot more. The ironic thing is, this year, they seem to be chucking a lot fewer threes when this team is better built for that style than the past three...

Until you guys start laying out some cash and upgrade your basketball facilities so they are close to being as nice as your hockey facilities you're not going to find a better coach than John B. because that will cost some money.

i believe that's Brandons next project is to get the bball facilities upgraded. But I completely agree.

They are attempting 24 threes a game his year, and attempted 24 a game last year. It's the same chuck it up and pray offense. Although they are hitting them at a 1.6% higher rate (a still atrocious 31.5% vs. a god awful 29.9% last year, and 31.5% will probably go down once B10 play starts).

Morris has taken a big step forward - could find his way onto one of the three all-Big Ten teams this year. Jordan Morgan also has played well this year & is a guy who would play for a lot of Big Ten teams. Hardaway is young and has shown some flashes but is very inconsistent game to game. They have a decent group, not going to contend for the Big Ten or anything like that, but one that (when they bring their "A" game) is capable of giving good teams a tough challenge. I am glad they will be playing Kansas at home right before they get OSU at home - this UM team has not been able to bring their "A" game in back-to-back games. I'm not quite sure why Beilein redshirted Morgan last year - he probably could've helped them win a few more games.

They play themselves in practice all the time, do you have to keep score to consider it actually playing "The Little Sisters of the Poor?"

So if they're the little sisters, when they play with themselves does that qualify as child molest?

Stay in purgatory brother. The 7th Circle of hell is a bitch.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Darius Morris scored 18 points, and Michigan went on a 20-6 run at the start of the second half to pull away for a 69-51 victory over Oakland, Mich., on Saturday.

The Golden Grizzlies (6-6) were hoping for another upset after beating No. 7 Tennessee earlier in the week, but the Wolverines (9-2) swarmed center Keith Benson, limiting him to 11 points after he scored 26 against the Volunteers.

Oakland, which is located in Rochester, Mich., nearly upset No. 14 Michigan State a week ago but lost by a point.

Michigan led 29-21 after the first half, then scored the first seven points of the second. A 3-pointer by Tim Hardaway Jr. made it 44-24, and the Wolverines eventually led 49-27 after a basket by Zack Novak.

The Golden Grizzlies cut the deficit to 10 but Michigan held them at bay.
