You may be right in all this, but do we really have to run off all fans of other teams? Maybe that's what some want from this place...not me.

No, we do not. But you're trying to generalize a specific case. There are several good posters from other teams who do not come here to troll. There ia an attention whore who was born and raised in Ohio who does.

Mike may not be the greater poster out there and I have no idea about his desire for attention, but, with the moderation that's done here, he seems fine. And considering that what he said that was "offensive" was on another board, I just don't see the problem.

If Mike were a Buckeye fan, BP would have collectively run his ass off long ago. In some ways, I believe fans of other teams are given a longer leash than Buckeye fans. I also believe that's how it should be. We're better than that. Mike would be annoying no matter which other front-runner he could have chosen to support. If he were a Buckeye and somehow still posting, I'd probably just ignore him. Seeing as he's a TSUN fan and irritating makes me want him gone. The fact he talks shit on a Michigan board then comes here with his "Aw shucks buddies, we sure do suck!" shit makes me want him gone even more.

I think he said something to the fact that he hopes Gonzaga rails tOSU. Would you expect anything different? I mean, what the heck else is a Meat fan supposed to post on their lousy board? Meanwhile, over here, if you aren't at least somewhat gracious, some might consider you trolling, so you have to be somewhat duplicitous.

I just think one has to know their place and their audience. Mike might play the fool a bit, and frankly he seems to lack understanding of most sports and seems more a casual fan (which to me is more dangerous than being a scUMer) than one with any real knowledge. But I can't get too excited about him "hating" Buckeyes on a Meat board. I understand that's my IMO and not yours.

I could give two shits. Mike (for all of his greatness) is a non-entity to me. I get more of a kick out of Jax's angst towards hiim. I just understand why some are peeved. I understand why it doesn't bother you as well. For me, I'm not a fan of duplicity. The part that trumps it for me is my first sentence here.
