I don't understand why Juwan Howard isn't taking any criticism, from what I've seen, about the regression of Teske this year. The one thing the new coach should bring is the knowledge of how to play the post. But Teske, despite being a senior that's 7-feet tall and having abilities to shoot and block shots, is not among the top half of B1G post guys. Shouldn't his play have improved under Howard this year? It looks like he's less effective to me.

Have been thinking about this post since I read it last week and really do not have a good answer except maybe Howard is not everything that everybody thinks he is. I have watched a few, try to stay away from them, of their games and have noticed the same thing you have regarding Teske. In fact, he seems to have regressed a little and is playing less minutes. Offensively, it might be because Juwannny is not playing the same type of offense that Johnny B did in the past. At least Johnny kept Teske relatively close to the basket but this year they seem to be spread out even more. Defensively I have not noticed that much of a difference. The entire team is a bunch of a-holes so we cannot expect a whole lot from them. Maybe @OSU_Buckguy could expand on my poor answer:beer:

i don't understand why you're being so critical. i mean, it's not like teske's coach played in the post.

5-star josh christopher just shunned ttun for asu. up until the commitment, everyone assumed that juwanna was gonna land him. quite a stunner... and a laugher.

dfbia is not happy. they're already expecting that their other 5-star target/commit will soon announce that he's going pro. if that happens, then they're going from an all-timer class (for ttun) to a "solid, but unexceptional" class.

losing one out-of-state 5-star in one sport; losing multiple in-state 4-stars in another sport. not a great week for that fanbase up north. you just hate to see it.
