I think so. They have Mr. Indiana for next years class.

They won't be replacing the player of the year in Burke. They probably lose Hardaway, could lose Robinson and might have to sweat out McGary.

I don't think anyone is expecting them to return to the Novak days, but rather that it is extremely difficult to lose multiple players early to the draft and not see a dropoff.

Their future at point guard is still in high school and is more good than great.

With McGary, Staukas and likely Robinson returning, they will still be a very good team. Maintaining the same level as a top 5 team all year seems overly optimistic.

The way Michigan is playing right now with Hardaway, Robinson and Burke they could match up with Louisville pretty well but i think the way McGary is coming on, he could be the difference in the ball game tonight. He is looking solid. It's just too damn bad that Ohio State had to lose. It would have been nice to see Ohio State and Michigan - two schools from the same conference playing for the championship. I don't think that has happened too many times.

Kansas over Oklahoma in 88 was the last

seemed obvious the media was pimping Cuse hard for an all Big East swan song final. An All B1G finale would have been sweet, and fitting. It's been the best conference all year long.

I remember the '76 game, when Indiana-TSUN was the final, and it was on the same night as the Oscars telecast. I had switched over to the Oscars after the game had ended; and Elliott Gould was a presenter, he opened the envelope, and said "And the winner is ... Indiana, 86-68."

There were a few people that would have been ticked off, since Betamax had been out for a few months, and if they taped the basketball game planning to watch it after the Oscars without knowing who had won, tough luck.

Friend kept saying that the program is/has started to pay out recruits again, if you compare the current recruits to Beilein's past recruits at the school (friend's opinion).

I don't really believe that (but my friend is convinced).
