more fodder. someone said on "tigerdroppings" that an "inside source" says Miles is going to announce he's leaving for Michigan today at 5pm.

again, i don't believe anything until I see it for my own eyes.

Brady Hoke will likely be it. Seems like a good coach, but face it, his career record is 47-50. :slappy:

Jim Tressel's career record before starting at OSU? 135-57-2.

I know most of you will disagree because of his rather difficult first season at ND (I chaulk that up to the fact that you cannot win at ND anymore; it's like closer to Purdue than OSU in what you can accomplish), but the scUMers screwed it up big time when they failed to hire Brian Kelly 3 years ago. At least he's won something significant in his career. Thankfully, though, they went into the direction of DickRod, a coach so amazing he couldn't reach the MNC game despite only having to defeat a team coached by Dave Wanncrap.

Please. Purdue is lucky if they land a Tom Zbikowski every 4 years, let alone the army of offensive blue-chippers like:

QB Crist, Frazer, Clausen, Quinn
RB Wood, Allen Hughes, Aldridge
WR Jones, Evans, Floyd, Tate, Kamara
TE Rudolph, Fauria, Ragone, Reuland
OL Watt, Bullard, Young, Carufel, Cave, Nwanko

and plenty of defensive ones as well (Teo, Motta, McCarthy, Cwynar, Walls, Gray, Filer)

It might be tough to be a consistent top-5 program at ND, but there's no excuse for the losses to Syracuse, the military or the home losing streak to sparty.
