Exactly.

The only question mark was the final pass, there was definite contact. However, after seeing it a couple times I understand why it went uncalled. Just not completely clear, didn't grab etc...

What gets consistently overlooked is that Denard had 3 opportunities to complete passes to wide open receivers and he blew it Bombed one out the back of the endzone, overthrew Hemingway, and missed the RB in the endzone on 3rd.

How is it that scUM dupes half the country every season? Denard for Heisman. Oh, wait, he isn't even the best all around QB in the conference.

The new coach knows how to win! Oh, wait, they haven't beaten a decent team, let alone a good one.

agreed. Denard was overthrowing all day, ESPECIALLY on that last drive. Oh well.

They made the right call.

Huh....so they did. I thought they blew it, but that's clear.

I still thought there was early contact on the 4th down play.

regardless, UM played like sh2t the whole game. They didn't deserve to win. One play doesn't lose you the game. For all we know, they call PI on that play and Denard throws a pick 6 on the next play.

game over, moving on. The late season collapses continue.

Yup - at full speed I thought he caught the ball. The instant replay showed that the original call was correct.

I thought so, too. But if you want to win that game, the receiver needs to make that catch, anyway. By not catching the ball, you leave it up to the mercy of the refs. I gotta believe that if that was Ohio State trying to score that touchdown, I'd be pretty pissed. As it is, I don't need to care.

No comments so far on Shoelace's fumble? The play where he was scrambling to avoid a sack, got away and leaned down with the hand holding the bell to keep his balance. His problem was the ball stayed on the ground and was jumped on by the defender for an Iowa recovery.

And so many idiot announcers often say that the ground can't cause a fumble.
