TSUN 29, Minnesota 6 (Final)

scUM up 16-0 nearing the half.....and they almost turned it over with 1minute 20 left.

Minnesota looks like it had the wind taken out of their sail last week.

That said it will be funny to watch how MIchigan blows it in the 2nd half - if they do....

Cissoko just coughed up the ball after being hit by the Minnesota KICKER. UM teammate somehow sneaks under 3 gophers to prevent the turnover at the < 10 yd line.

Minor just went out with an injury.

At least we have half a rivalry win under our belt. I wonder if the defense has any more of whatever they drank this morning?
The defense did look a little better, but that was an extremely lethargic effort from the varmints (missed blocks, poor tackling). They had a terrible gameplan and it didn't help losing their best (only?) offensive weapon early on.

I think it has less to do with what the defense drank this morning as much as How much did the gopher's offense drink last night.

Could say much the same about Northwestern, except I suppose the missed tackles are because of Wells and Pryor and not because of Northwestern.

I don't really care what the reason is.....if they miss tackles and blocks and you do not, that is a good game. Coverage was good for the most part. Trent in particular had a good game. Offensive line actually looked like a Big Ten offensive line and that was the biggest thing, I think.
