Didn't Michigan State lose to Central Michigan and Notre Dame? Ugh
exactomundo -- now watch Notre Dame jump the Wolverines in the polls. The Big 10 should be 3 and oh against the Irish, Fat Charlie checking the help wanted adds and Irish Alums assembling for a necktie party in Effigy, Indiana.

Go Huskies!

You could tell he was in pain because everytime a play went bad for him he hunched over but when a play went okay he looked fine. The kid has an act for the theatre.

Despite it all.. I gotta give Tate some props, that was a gutsy performance on the road, and you could tell he was really battling the pain.

Nonetheless, I'm so glad that little fucker fucked it up.

Sparty, with their rich history and experience, found a way to still be same ole sparty despite a big lead late. As the flagship school in the conference, they do it better than anyone else.

Yet somehow Michigan found a way to out sparty them.

Tate got away with a lot of dangerous plays, including that sideline throw right at the db (it wasn't a hidden defender either). He just takes huge chances like that.

He plays with a lot of moxy and guts, but it finally caught up with him, on the scoreboard and physically.

How fitting that Larry caper ran in the winning score, seeing as he was snubbed by UM. Fans said he was too slow to play, what with their unmatched level of speed on offense.

Sparty won, but there are questions about the gameplan. Past few years, there have been far too many games when Sparty, sitting on a big lead, went into a soft prevent defence. Again, the same thing today. Two fumbled snaps on scUM's last possession in regulation, especially on the TD play, but Sparty couldn't take advantage because of the 3-man rush. I would think Dantonio would bring pressure inside the 10-yard line on a QB working through pain when he's sitting on a 7-point lead. I just don't get it. It was a win for Sparty, but it was not a good performance. scUM would've won if they'd played mistake-free.
