Rain stopped.. wind is kicking up just a bit.. so two of my kids wanted to go 'sight see' what I saw earlier... 2nd time you see so much more... hundreds of trees have that 45 degree angle lean from a hurricane but so many huge trees destroyed.. shattered... and in bunches.. looks like tornado paths moreso than hurricane..

you can't imagine how these big thick trees look like they were exploded...

and that big tree that was stuck in the other tall trees.. has now fallen out of the trees and hung up on the power lines.. and dangling out well into the street

hopefully I can post the pics... defies imagination

Most of us here in Central Ohio got a pretty good look at that a few months ago. Moundbuilders Park, here in Newark was a disaster. There were cars crushed by huge trees on damn near every street in town.

I should be very thankful.. I have power... but I go 2 miles in any direction... and no power... No power at work and that's killing me...

Traffic is becoming exceptionally abysmal because no lights means every intersection is a comedy...

Just passed a neighbors house.. I knew there was a big tree down next to their house... and today I can see there is a car underneath this monster.. dead center of the roof

I see no work crews anywhere .. trees and lines with no one working on them... WTF.. I wanna go help with my chainsaw but it's electric.. argh

Pretty sure lots of guys will be coming in to your neck of the woods to clean up. Heard some boys talking about travelling south just this morning, looking for work. Stay safe, my friend.

Still waiting to hear from my uncle, who lives just blocks from the beach in a very flooded part of NJ. They weren't planning to ride out the storm at home or anything foolish like that, but I sure wish they'd call.

Aside from the many, many, many, many things I find problematic about the concept and ownership of an electric chainsaw. Would one really want to be the dude who rolls out there to "help" with one in their hands?

If it were me, I'd just fake an injury to save face.
