I'm hoping that curve keeps moving earlier to the point where it's steered up along the coast. The current models have it curving up through the heart of the state now after landfall.

I'm heading to Biloxi Miss. the 18th of Sept. Hope the hurricanes stay the hell away from there.

The hurricane was hindered this morning by some dry air that mixed into the core of the storm. The central pressure was up so it weakened a little bit.

Once the dry air gets mixed out it'll start to strengthen again (it looks pretty good on satellite now)....

when they cross over florida into the gulf, they always seem to go farther west than predictions.

that model was really early in the process. Literally everything has shifted to the east coast of florida.

The chances of Dorian getting into the gulf is less than 5% now...
