What was the count on the white shrimp?Nutriaitch;1983259; said:and then the great thing about a september storm?
shrimp. lots and lots of shrimp.
tide started dropping late yesterday afternoon (still falling at a good clip too).
using a land popierre for 4 hours last night, and about 6-7 hours tonight.
4- 90 qt ice chests
2- 80 qt ice chest
3- 48 qt ice chest
3/4- 170 qt ice chest
full of shrimp!
would still be catching them right now if the net hadn't ripped.
Are you going to freeze them or sell them? Those heads will make one hell of a stock.Nutriaitch;1983259; said:and then the great thing about a september storm?

Nice. I'd just slice off the filets, put some sea salt and lemon on it and throw it on the charcoal grill scales side down.Nutriaitch;1983279; said:21/25 mostly
a few smaller ones mixed in, and a handful or two of them monster shrimp.
also caught a few really nice flounders in the net.
last night, bro-in-law caught a 40+ pound redfish in that damn thing.
