One position OSU has NEVER had concerns about is LINEBACKER. However concerns about the following have existed over the last 10 years or so at different times.

QB? YES!

RB depth? YES! (Remember a few years back when we had Lydell and Marurce Hall splitting time? Good guys but weak run game)

WR depth? YES!

TE? What TE!

OL/DL concerns? OH hell yes!!

DB depth? YES

Linebacker? NEVER!!!

Stanley Jackson on Jim Tressel from page 8 of the July-Aug 2010 Ohio State Alumni Magazine:

"I don't think winning is his #1 goal. Making them better people is," said Stanley Jackson, who played quarterback from 1993-1997. "I have a lot of respect for Coach [John] Cooper. He was a great coach. But the relationship these guys have with Coach Tressel is a lot different. I think he does a better job of raising men."

It's more than the ball.
