Trey DePriest (former LB Alabama)

Trey and his family are fond of Alabama. Alabama is in the driver seat it seems, lets not set ourselves up for heart break again, gotta be true to ourselves! Trey and his family are going to do what's best for all of them, nobody can fault them for that. Alabama is a legit place too, they respect us. We just have to try our hardest on Friday and see how it turns out. :osu:

Is an announcement imminent?
2011 LB Trey DePriest

UPDATE: The staff at Bucknuts.com has heard that Trey DePriest "fully intends to pick Alabama" and that his visit to Columbus on Friday is a "courtesy look." The site also hears that Springfield assistant coach John Cupps, who has been the source of a lot of the DePriest-loves-Bama news, has dreams of coaching in the SEC and is trying to get in Nick Saban's good graces by steering DePriest to the Tide.

---

Four-star OLB Trey DePriest of Ohio (No. 33 in the ESPNU 150) confirms to Erik Stinnett of ESPN affiliate CrimsonConfidential.com that he is down to Alabama and Ohio State, and reveals that he will visit both schools this weekend in an attempt to arrive at a decision.

DePriest will only spend a day (Friday) in Columbus, whereas he will be in Tuscaloosa for parts of three days (Saturday through Monday), but that's simply because he can easily take another visit to Ohio State if he feels the need to since he lives an hour away.

DePriest didn't offer a concrete timetable for making or announcing his decision, but he seemed to indicate that that was the reason for these trips. "That's why I'm making these visits -- so I can make up my mind"; "That's what I'm going to find out this weekend (whether one emerges as a favorite)"; "If I see (the deciding factor), I'll know what it is."

There has been a lot of speculation recently that Ohio State has made up ground on Alabama, but ESPN Recruiting's Bill Kurelic says that the Tide are believed to still be DePriest's favorite.

Exactly and I'm not sure what is so difficult about the request. The use of quotation marks, italics, or any other form of veiled assertion is also tiresome.

We've allowed some leeway in the Mill...but keep it out of here. If there is something going on, it will come out in the wash like it always does. However, until then, leave the assumptions and accusations out of this thread.

Well its well over 105 with the heat index here in Alabama...its not August yet. The weather here sucks. There is jack to do in Tuscaloosa...Been tryin since 2006 to get out of this place...hopefully Depriest and his family catch onto this. Living in central Bama isn't all that great...matter of fact it sucks.
