psu has the #10 total defense and #5 scoring defense last year.

i would give anything to have someone ask him on air how that can be considered worse than an offense that was outside the top 80 nationally.

he is a total assclown.

A girl I know here used to work for ESPN on the Gameday set as a prod. assistant before she moved up the ranks. She called Alberts a "pussy" and said that he complains about everything from the ammount of commentary he gets to how his hair is out of place. She stated that he wasn't very well liked on the set.

hey as a fourth recruit, dont forget Jason Gwaltney who had us and USC high on his list and than signed with West Virginia. i know it might have costed us Chris Wells from this years recruiting class had he signed with us, but there woulndt be as many questions about our backfield this year!

Logic, as applied to Trev's picks would indicate he would pick by most controversy. We get picked for sure! Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Cal. LSU and ND. That should get the most Emails and fans watching!

i dont think espin had anything to do with Gwaltney. He wanted to make a splash in the recruiting world and he did. I have my doubts on Gwaltney ever even decommitting from WVU.

"even worse defense" when talking of Penn State has to be the single stupidest thing he has ever said. ESPiN likes to keep him for the same reason most politicians are successful: because he riles people up so they tune in...not because he has anything intelligent to say.

The fact of the matter is...I'm about to state another of my totally worthless opinions, but if I preface it by calling it a fact, 2 farm boys in Iowa and 3 haybalers in Nebraska might actually believe it!

I think Trev invented the word Assclown.

As for Screamin' A. Smith, my customized vChip automatically mutes my TV whenever he's on now, so I haven't heard his sorry ass in months. :biggrin:

There was a time when these guys really riled me up. Now, I just don't care what they say because it is so clear that they don't know what they are talking about.

And you can add Stewart Mandel to the same list.
