Tattoos aren't as controversial to have any more, folks. It's the way of the world for things to become more and more mainstream. "Temporary tattoos"
have been available for years, kids of all ages love em, 4 year olds are just as likely to draw on themselves with out without the "temptation" of a doll to tell them to. Heck there is even a toy for this.

There are still those who view all this as the Devil's handy work and would take away the basic human rights of women and those who they view as "different" than themselves. Common sense in these things go out the proverbial window. But, fortunately for the majority of Americans, they see this as just a distraction from the bigger issues of the economy.
