There are still those who view all this as the Devil's handy work and would take away the basic human rights of women and those who they view as "different" than themselves. Common sense in these things go out the proverbial window. But, fortunately for the majority of Americans, they see this as just a distraction from the bigger issues of the economy.

Viva le revolution!

I'm confused. I thought I'd entered a thread about slutty toys being sold to small children, yet here is commentary relative to Satan and communism. Did I take a wrong turn into a parallel universe?

We've all seen photo things entitled "women of the big ten" , "women of tOSU" etc.
Has anyone ever seen one called "women of NOW" ?

Logic fail. This statement is meant to imply there are no good looking feminists I am assuming. Totally ignoring the fact that a NOW feminist, good looking or not, is too much of an extremist already to allow a photo shoot of the type you mention.

Apparently depriving 4 years old of their right to express their inner slut makes some people the equivalent of the Taliban, according to wise one from New Mexico.

Tattoos aren't as controversial to have any more, folks. It's the way of the world for things to become more and more mainstream.

I think that depends on the stream. If I walked into our next Board meeting with a newly minted tattoo there would be some controversy, but not so much since I've been meeting with these folks for years. I have a track record and they seem to appreciate my work. Had I shown up at the job interview with one, however, I wouldn't have even been hired. I'm positive of that, given the nature of my job and the audience.

Fairly or not, tattoos are more acceptable in some areas than others. I just want to be a laser surgeon over the next 2 decades when all of these pretty 20-somethings marking themselves with tats become middle aged moms and grannies trying to cover up something that seemed like a good idea when they were young. :wink2:
