PA has a bunch of talent every year and loses some top players a lot more then Ohio did in Coopers lovely years . JOE PA would have been fired years ago if he was the OSU coach.

A great coach/person but, I always wondered how great PSU would have been if they got what they wanted out of PA.

Where do you think Sweat ends up?

He's probably the linebacker I want the most(though Hale is at a position of greater need).

Right now, I think Sweat is definitely a OSU lean. However, he does have two trips left to Gainesville and Happy Valley before making a decision, so you never no what can happen.

As for Hale, I've heard from a lot of people that he may outgrow the LB position and move to DE. Granted that comes from PSU people, who probably are just saying that because Hale isn't that high on them, even though his head coach (Terry Smith) played at PSU & is Justin King's stepfather.

"Rivals $

2/8

By Farrell...Shayne has a leader...and it's OSU.

By far the most positive update on Shayne so far and it is coming from a neutral source."

That's from Hale's thread...he has been on the record for saying OSU is his leader since we offered.

That was Terry Smith who said that, not Shayne.

3 updates after that from 3 different sites have Shayne saying he is wide open.

Keystone Recruiting

Preseason Top 50

Legit TOSU Targets with ranking:

1) Pryor

2) Hale

3) Sweat--:osu:

4) Baldwin

5) Nix

10) C. Wilson

11) Yancich

Shayne Hale, Andrew Sweat, and Jonathan Baldwin were virtually tied for the second best prospect in the state, according to our panel. Hale and Baldwin may have the most upside, but Sweat could very well be the better player of the three right now.
