Silver linings.....I probably won't have to worry about missing the B1G Champtionship Game in two weeks when I'm in Hawaii. Really, there are lots of silver linings everywhere if you squint really, really hard.

I'm surprised I'm not mad, either. Disappointed of course, but we were very fortunate to not be down double digits with Sparty running out the clock late.

Certainly didn't deserve to win today. Not with that performance.

When MSU upset us in 1998 I was as mad and upset as a sporting event has ever made me. This time? Not even feeling a little upset. Sure, it's a fucking bummer -- but we won the title last year, and at NO point of this season has this team felt like they were up to the task of repeating. That's not a slight on them, repeating is *fucking* hard. So I'm bummed, but not feeling anything like 1998. Indeed, I'm sort of rubbing my hands thinking about how fired up we'll be for Michigan.

I'm actually more upset about Zeke's Heisman campaign grinding to a halt than I am much else at this point, damn shame. The tears in his eyes before the game made it pretty clear this was likely his last game in the Shoe. Best RB we've had since Eddie, as far as I'm concerned. That's not a slight on any other greats, just saying how highly I think of him.

Outplayed. Outcoached.

I'm happy that this team won 10 games so far this year, but this team and the coaching has been disappointing to say the least. With all the returning talent, the OL, QB play, and WR play is all worse or much worse than last year. Defense is very good, but for some reason struggles to tackle and keep players from falling forward. The lack of a true NT is devastating.

Team just never had an identity. That's the worst part. For all the returning talent and success from last year, and they couldn't figure it out this year.

Hope to god they can win next week because they'll face the exact same offensive game plan that ran it down their throat today.

I said somewhere on the board earlier in the year, that I didn't feel we'd repeat... I got sucked in with the crappy schedule and the belief of "why not us". Its was clear all year this team didn't have it. Either on Offense or Defense. This was the '13 team, no Offensive identity outside of QB runs and suspect line play. Defense look good at times others they get gashed. I'm disappointed I expected better. I do expect changes on the offensive coaching staff this offseason....
