Problem is they can't stop much else either. It sucks to not stop sweeps and screens, but those 15 yard gains on 2nd or 3rd and 12 are worse many times.

Sucks to lose, but it is what it is. I'll never be disappointed in a 12-1 season, a win over those shit bags from up north & a good chance at a BCS bowl game. If you're disappointed, hang your jersey/shirt/hat/whatever up and walk away. The Ohio State future is EXTREMELY bright. Think about that for a second....24-1 and still room for a ridiculous amount of growth. Keep your head up boys & let's close out the season with a bowl game W. GO BUCKS!!!!

I agree with that, but we also had a 7 point lead in the 3rd quarter and never scored again despite starting two drives in MSU territory. Defense was a question mark all season, but tonight the offense didn't deliver when it counted most. No doubt, MSU's defense had a lot to do with it.

I don't think you grasp the build up of 2 years with the same BAD defensive scheme all coming crashing down at a chance to play for all the marbles. But you are right about the upside, for now though...it is shame time.

Look, I don't like the play either , but guess what. Neither you, nor me, have Urb's trust with this offense. We can agree on the dislike of the call, if we can't run it for shit, but we'll have to agree to disagree about Herman overall.

Well therein lies the problem...we played against a bunch of stiffs on defense all year. MSU was going to get some stops, they are too good not to, so our defense was going to have to overachieve compared to what they did most of the year...and they didn't. Yeah, the offense didn't do much for stretches, but they did score 24 unanswered to put us in position to win...so you could look at it either way, I guess.

Yeah it was Wisconsin from last year all over again...get the lead, run Miller left, Miller right, and do nothing else. O coaching certainly shouldered some blame tonight.
