Watched Minnesota play Sparty, twice. We can run on Sparty. It won't be easy, but I know we can run on Sparty. Their offense isn't explosive. We have the QB and style to give that defense fits. We get up on them and they'll be in trouble. Sparty commits a lot of penalties because of their aggressive style on defense. I think it will probably be another close, hard fought game.MSU fans, like their team, seem very very confident. Typical false swagger IYAM.
I'm going to the game and I am freaking pumped! I've never been to Indy (or a neutral site game), so I'm looking forward to a lot of fun.
Sparty is in one of those rare instances where they can't lose. They win they go to the Rose Bowl. Even if they lose , chances are they still go to the Rose Bowl. Contrast that to our situation. We lose, God only knows where we'll end up!
There is a huge risk here! This scares me.
Lose, and we may very well get that shot at Auburn or Alabama in the Capital One to boot. If both those teams go to the BCS, I guess it would be...South Carolina (again)?Win and it's National Championship or Rose Bowl
Lose and its Capital One
I'm sure they are very worried about you. Your likes/posts this past week are giving me heartburn.Note to Defensive Staff ..Meltdown in a Win ..gives me heartburn..Defensive Meltdown in a loss..my heartburn is the least of your worries.
We could end up against Auburn/Bama too this way..Then again we could get an at large BCS bid, which would net more money, but could end up with a matchup against Oklahoma State or Northern Illinois or UCF...not exactly the stuff that dreams are made of.
Yes, he won.Too lazy to find his thread, but is it true dantonio won big ten coach of the year?
I'm going off of this: http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index.ssf/2013/12/michigan_states_mark_dantonio_85.html
