Zach Edey has really started to look like a basketball player the last couple games. Credit to Painter, he knows how to get and develop bigs. When he's in the game, they'll run him right to the middle of the lane and look for a quick entry pass - he tends to stand in there a while if he doesn't get it - high ball pressure on the entry passer is key because you can't exactly stop a 7'4" guy from catching the ball. Holtmann also needs to be all over the 3-second call when he's in the game- Edey camps in there.
Interesting thing is with Edey's rise, their main big Trevion Williams has seemed to fall off- just 6, 9, 11, and 9 points in his last 4. Jaden Ivey is their Marcus Carr - he's a great playmaker and will be a star. He's my biggest concern on the outside. Stefanovich really hasn't done squat the last month, but who knows - probably due to terrorize the Bucks today.
I still think EJ can give both their big guys fits with his quickness. We need a really efficient game from DWJ too, low turnovers and good shooting percentage. If he can "win" his battle on the wings, I think the Bucks can take it.
It'll be a tight battle either way. Wouldn't expect anything less in this conference.
