I agree.

The thing is, in the past we all knew that the team which scrambled back from MSU would show up. I can't say I'm sure of it this year. It's disconcerting and it illustrates how consistently good Matta has been during his time at Ohio State.

Bingo. This is the same group of guys who started the season 15-0, dismantled Marquette in their home floor, crushed Maryland, should've beaten MSU in East Lansing (an MSU team with Payne, I'll add), beat Nebraska by 31, and won at Purdue. If they can get some chemistry and/or a leader, they can get back to the point of beating anyone in the league. If they can't--and if Thad doesn't shuffle a lineup that hasn't been producing--they may only win a few more games this year.

Not sure that I agree lineup shuffling in itself is the answer. We HAVE to get the pieces we have playing better. Specifically playing with more intensity.

That said, to the extent that lineup shuffling leads to more intensity this is spot on.
