I agree, but I can't blame talking heads for using it sarcastically against us when we're having battles versus the likes of Northern Illinois, Indiana and Maryland.

That may actually be part of the issue. Not making an excuse for our own poor play, but a couple things make me nervous with football when I have an interest in the outcome: freshman/rookie QBs in one (just never know how they're going to respond), and a coach in his last game another (don't know if the team will play up because of it). I doubt the latter is a factor here, but who knows. We're not great and they're (MD) playing better than they did last week.

This team basically feels like it just has to show up. Accordingly, as the team is a direct reflection of the head coach, this may be Urban Meyer's worst coaching job.

And the irony of coming off probably his best coaching last year.

This team has no passion, no intensity, no cohesion, no identity, no discipline.

ok, so much for my keen grasp of the obvious.

On the "bright" side when they do eventually lose, maybe today, it won't be a big surprise to anyone.
