Game Thread tOSU vs. Indiana, Nov 22nd @ 12pm ET, BTN

Watched the game in full finally...

Overall it wasn't as bad on defense as I originally thought but a lot of what I said before still stands. On both of Tevin's long TDs there was SIX in the box with our safties 10 yards off the ball. The one thing we have going for us in the next two games is both don't spread us out to force us to respect it. Both -ichigan and Wisconsin don't spread out much and with that I'm hoping we can also put more in the box. Just poor gap assignment on both big Tevin runs and poor containment on Diamonts big run.

Offense another game of missed opportunities. Spence has one go off his hands for a INT, Thomas fumbles (not a fumble), missed marshall wide open for a TD, air mailed Heurman for the first pick, missed Venette for a TD, and had a no call pass interference on Corey Smith.

Too many times we leave games saying damn if we could've hit this pass or if we could just eliminate that one/two big plays... We have yet to play our complete game on both sides of the ball and hopefully it starts next weekend and carries into the game with what we all presume is Wisconsin.

When we're putting 50 on teams it's easy o forget the over-all youth we have. We got up early and thought it was just another bad Indiana team and the game was over.
We took our foot off the gas..............
The good news is the growth of Jalin Marshall!!!!!! 4 TDs! This is huge for the offense.
When the refs are ignoring holding it will come down to who scores last.

The real game of the year was three weeks ago, then Minnie in snow, 2nd week on the road, ranking on the line, and then The Game - and even when they suck, you know they will come after you. But that's a week away and in the mean time little baby sister is in for a visit.

I know the weather had an impact, but the stadium was less than half-full when the band began the ramp entry, people in my section 26A, were still waltzing in with 8 minutes to go in the first half. Malaise - it wasn't until Colemen blew by the secondary for 90 to put the Hoosiers up that the team seemed to really wake up to the task at hand.

Regarding the music that was played during the game after every play in the first half, and then still after every defensive play in the second...whose idea was that? It was so distracting being at the game. The band couldn't play. You couldn't hear the PA. And above all, it seemed to be difficult for the offense to communicate.

I'm not some old stick in the mud...I'm 32...but this music did not fit at all. The PA should just play hells bells on third down and that's it. During time outs or kick offs...that's fine, but also keep room for the band.

I haven't seen this addressed by the team or any media..but if I were Urban I would be pissed...and I pray THE GAME goes back to how it's always been. Maybe there is a good person to contact or write to share the displeasure? It really ruined the experience of being at the game...not to mentioned it seeming to affect the offense.

My understanding is it was Urban's idea.

That decision, an Urban Meyer decision, was made to try and bring Ohio Stadium's atmosphere to another, different level because noon games in Columbus are more akin to funerals than they are to football games with one of the country's best teams playing.
