Game Thread tOSU vs. Illinois, Nov 1st @ 8pm ET, ABC

@AuTX Buckeye
If you want to get a little fancy with your computer to TV hook-up - check out Radio Delay (http://www.daansystems.com/radiodelay/) - it's freeware that will let you take a radio/stereo, plug it into your computer microphone port, and delay the radio broadcast in order to sync the audio with your TV broadcast. It's really easy to set up quickly - you'll want to match the kickoff or a snap to easily sync the audio with the video.

The end result is hitting mute on ESPN announcers and tuning into the local feed. This would also work with an phone/tablet streaming the Ohio State Radio Network via iHeart/TuneIn app for those not able to grab the radio broadcast over their radio.

If you're a "cord-cutter", using streaming video feeds like BTN2GO or WatchESPN will likely require you to pause the video feed for a few seconds as the radio is actually in front of these streams most of the time.

EDIT: if anyone sets this up, but are watching through Windows Media Center with a TV Tuner, WMC's volume is directly tied to Windows system audio - meaning, if you mute the TV the entire computer volume mutes. There is a simple EXE out there on Google that allows you to hotkey mute WMC only, letting you mute the TV but let the radio feed play through your speakers.

Oh man watchespn is sweet for cordcutters that have a relative giving you access to their login info. It is especially nice to use with a Roku :wink: but for BTN2GO I needed to use my nexus 10 coupled with mini HDMI to the TV. Really wish BTN2GO made a Roku channel. But I always got it to work out some way (had to go back with DirecTV since I am sort of a TV snob and have to put games up on the site lol).

Yeah, I've got HDMI's out the yin-yang. I was more making the point that its a pain the ass to lug home 2 laptops to be able to watch a game on my TV.
Goes to my earlier point, this regional shit has to stop because the technology is there (for Cable... OTA its not happening) for me to select which game I want to watch.. I shouldn't be subjected to stupidity because others around me like it.

I think it is already happening through data/web. Those who have smart tv, AppleTv, Roku already have a lot of that directly to our primary viewing area. Not all games are there yet, but the movement is underway.
