I think in this case you do, considering it's a former assistant of a failed coach and the stink of said failed former coaches seems to still be hanging over the program with that assistant now in charge.

Yeah, Matta undeniably made us a top ~15 program in the sport and we just voluntarily gave it up through complacency and laziness. No serious program runs somebody out of town and then promotes their assistant who has no experience as a HC. It's pretty astonishing how OSU's AD dropped the ball on this.

It was a very lazy "feel good hire"

Michigan is looking at being a top 4 seed while we are hoping to maybe sneak in at the tail end of the bracket.

Basically they must beat Northwestern and Corn at home and then pick up a road win over USC, UCLA or Indiana to make it into the dance.

The 1 good coach this program had since Taylor was run out of town on a rail. Logic isn't applicable I guess
