All I know is there will never have been a better assembled secondary than 2024 if we somehow get Downs.

What?!
Is this for real, or wishful thinking?
Yeah still won’t be close lol…2019 would like to have some words with you.

Hey now, speak for yourself ....
That is one of the biggest parts of Gene Smith retiring that I am looking forward to. Getting our NIL game stronger. There is no excuses.I was probably the loudest.
All it took our NIL was Michigan winning the title apparently.
So it's open season, hope the staff bought their tags to bag a Downs and a Proctor. Also, just as an FYI, Alabama players are open for 30 additional days to transfer with Saban retiring.
Eh, Wade was best in the slot but I would still agree this Defense is going to be the best since 1998 in my opinion if Downs ends up here.Yeah still won’t be close lol…
Burke/Iggy I think is better collectively than Okudah/Arnette. I think Hancock is better than Wade and hard to argue with Downs/Ransom at safety although I do love Fuller.
I think none of our corners are as good as Okudah but the next 3 best are on this years team.
That’s what made TCUN a good defense. They were just old.Eh, Wade was best in the slot but I would still agree this Defense is going to be the best since 1998 in my opinion if Downs ends up here.
There. I said it.
OSU's NIL game either needs to unite and get on the same page or the program will be stuck. Be done with the petty rivalry when both collectives are supposed to want the team to succeed. The new AD needs to be the adult in the roomThat is one of the biggest parts of Gene Smith retiring that I am looking forward to. Getting our NIL game stronger. There is no excuses.
I think Gene maybe see's himself as the adult in the room, and plays things conservative with NIL and compliance, or he just plain doesn't grasp the NIL world all together, and new forms of fundraising. Maybe all the changes are one of the reasons behind his retirement.OSU's NIL game either needs to unite and get on the same page or the program will be stuck.
