Small world. This article is running in today's edition of The Lantern. Um, do our shirts have bullet holes in them? Also check the sentence I've highlighted in bold. :(

A local store that sold T-shirts portraying Ohio State and Columbus in a negative manner was recently forced to pull the shirts from their shelves.
Nu Source, a men's apparel store located at City Center and Eastland Mall, began carrying printed T-shirts that said "Welcome to Columbus" with a gun replacing the "L" in Columbus, the name of a Columbus area street or town and a "Block O" riddled with bullet holes.
The "Block O" symbol has been trademarked by OSU.
"We feel (the shirts are) in violation of our trademark rights," said Rick Van Brimmer, director of trademark and licensing services at OSU.
Both the subject matter and design copy the OSU logo - which identifies OSU - and they are not viewed in a favorable way, he said.
In a situation like this, trademark and licensing services will contact the violating vendor and ask them to stop selling the items, Van Brimmer said.
Trademark and licensing services contacted the Nu Source stores a few weeks ago to get their cooperation in immediately removing the items from the shelves, Van Brimmer said. If the store does not comply with the order, there could be misdemeanor or felony charges depending on the volume of the merchandise.
"Anybody is able to apply for a license, but it is pretty clear by the context of the shirts that we would not be interested," Van Brimmer said.
The manager of the store, Zenash Hailu, said that the Nu Source stores no longer carry the T-shirts.
"We got rid of the shirts a few weeks ago," she said.
When asked how to get in contact with the stores' owner, Afsal Koya, Hailu said that he has already talked to different news organizations and told them everything they needed to know about the shirts. She didn't know any of the details of where the shirts came from.
"We don't sell them anymore," Hailu said.
