Okay, and if the unfortunate happens and Barrett struggles again will the coaches have a backup plan or will we start running nothing but QB draws and read options while totally abandoning the pass game?

Since I don't believe Braxton will be miraculously healed, our backup options are extremely limited. I was happy with the play of Cardale last week, but if he has to play tonight we are in serious trouble. If Barrett struggles (and therefore the offensive line is probably struggling) our chances drop significantly. I don't see any backup plan being successful under that scenario, no matter what it is.

And just to be clear, I wasn't talking about benching Barrett. More like misdirection boots to get an overly agressive defense going in the wrong direction and Barrett some easy throws out of the pocket as I mentioned before.

I just want to feel like our offense is a step ahead of the D.
