K.. here's the skinny on today's Rutgers match-ups
WR - Carroo is M Thomas tier - he's outstanding... but he's hurt (ankle).. he'll still make plays... very aggressive when ball is in the air.. think Devin Smith
Rest of their WRs.. they will get open... but they will drop easy catches.. we'll get an INT when a great pass hits one of them in the facemask or shoulder pad and pops up
TE - very good group; they can catch and block
RB - lots of little dudes that will gain yards; they'll use 3 or 4; they can also catch screens
QB - ya never know... has been taking care of the ball but how can anyone forget he downed the ball on 4th down in final minute vs MSU; he'll throw into coverage; he's accurate but he ain't seen this pressure yet
OL - not bad but tuff to judge too... OT Lumpkin is big and strong but our DEs will show him a quickness he ain't prepared for
this will be an interesting match-up today... cuz they seem to do OK vs pass rush and can spring the little dudes on runs
I just don't know if they've seen OSU quickness.. don't think we'll miss Shutt as much because Hill will bring quickness and I suspect that will cause problems
DL - ineffective
LBs - talented; they will make plays and only time there will be pressure is if these guys are coming but then, DBs are exposed; Longa and Gaines are good players
DBs - young..young.. young... couple aren't bad.. Safety is decent; best DB Austin is hobbled; Hester is OK.. will be gashed for 400 yards in the air
ST - kickers are OK; return game is serious; Janarion Grant KR/PR is excellent; coverage teams are dangerous.. they block kicks.. punts.. FGs..
Everyone is gonna score
M Thomas gets 2 TDs
Miller gets at least 1, 2 or 3 (they have nothing for Brax.. he could score 5 today
Jaelen gets at least one
Zeke gets 2 or more... LONG runs but he's only gonna get to play first half anyway
73-14
play the over
Urb will start calling off the dogs to start 2nd half when it's 38-7
he'll really call off the dogs in Q4 when it's really bad
