Game Thread tOSU @ Rutgers, Sat 10/24 @ 8pm ET, ABC

Rutgers took out #2 Louisville 11/11/2005 which put RU on the Golden path to becoming bonifide.
This whole thing was a weak effort. But this in particular. On 11/11/2005, Rutgers lost to #23 Louisville 56-5. On 11/9/2006, Rutgers beat #3/4 Louisville 28-25. Which, by the way, has about the same relevance to tomorrow's game as Ohio State beating #1 Purdue in 1968 or #1 Iowa in 1985.

Cow Tippers comin' to NJ. Rutgers is playing an overrated team which almost lost to NIU. Think about that for a minute. A loss to NIU would have paled in comparison to Appy State. A National Champion team losing to the likes of NIU. OMFG! APPY STATE! APPY STATE! APPY STATE!

SAT night tOSU is playing a team which lost in the final minute against two quality opponents. RU could have a 5-1 record. PSU was a blowout due to the fact that Rugers' head Coach wasn't there.

Rutgers took out #2 Louisville 11/11/2005 which put RU on the Golden path to becoming bonifide. SAT night vs TOSU, TOSU gonna get a BEAT DOWN at the BIRTHPLACE OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. And RUTGERS, not tOSU, will OWN all and future bragging rights of the B1G East.

Grab your banjos and your first-cousin as your date, get in your Ford pickup trucks and HEAD ON OVER to a state high with some of the highest Per Capita Incomes in the country. Heck, gas is cheap in NJ to help you on your way home. If your truck makes it that far.

So just to clarify, Rutgers by now does or does not have bonifides?

While true, you have to remember, you're reasoning with a guy who thinks Ohio State fans should somehow be upset that Ohio State beat Northern Illinois.

RU is as unpredictable as any team in the country... week by week.. red hot.. stone cold.. like a box of chocolates.. never know whatcha gonna get
but this week... 73-14
4 DBs.. 3 original starters are wearing numbers off the normal scale... like 152351 at Rikers
so 3 freshman/redshirt-freshmen had to be thrown in
one was really coming on... Austin? and he was actually very good but I think he went down last week and I don't expect him to play
so that backfield is a disaster

LONG TDs coming Saturday... in bunches
