Ohio State is also in the top 3 for Bryce Smalls who says he will visit Ohio State, Tennessee and Alabama for games this fall.

Georgia’s 247 insider says Ohio State is the school with the most buzz around Jai’lil Goley, a consistent theme for the past month. Goley is planning a late season visit to Ohio State.

He was also told that Georgia Tech is the school leading the way for Amaree Joshua but had Ohio State heavily involved as well. Joshua said his visit to Ohio State was the best visit of his recruitment thus far.

Tom Loy dropped an article with pre season updates on a ton of elite 2028 recruits, Ohio State related:
Tracking to land Christopher Vargas on Saturday.
One of the top schools for Kellan Hall.
Leading for Casey Barner with Georgia as the top competition, Miami is also pushing for him.
Very much still in play for Kameron McGee and working to get him on campus this season.
One of the top contenders for the top two CBs Nasir Richardson and Keaton Fields.
Battling Penn State for Jermaine Smith Jr.
Has Ohio State leading for Jermaine Cobbins today but long way to go. Lot of competition.

Says Ohio State has led for Braylon Clark for the longest but noted Oregon and Tennessee won’t make this easy.

Miles to go till the finish line, certainly. Don't believe there's any doubt (now), that Ryan Day has built a juggernaut upon the foundation that UFM and others started. That recruits all want to at least 'see' what tOSU has to offer speaks volumes as well. Probably doesn't mean much in the long run, but reading what new portal hires say about Ohio State being 'other worldly' etc that come from places that aren't cheesy indicates that tOSU is doing something right. Of course, not THAT scarlet colored glasses, that believe that tOSU will land everyone, but always looks good. NIL $, depth chart, distance from home, etc are all final factors. So we'll see how plays out. Guess my (sometimes obscure) point is that the recruiting recipe is strong. Certainly Day is key, staff also key, Coach Mick and Mark Pantoni don't receive enough credit, and simply the entire organization contributes to this success. Also enjoy that when a recruit decommits, Day & Co seem to get a replacement in the fold that is ranked more highly. This 'love letter' to Buckeyeland is simply recognition of the enjoyment I get from this program.
