2028 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I assume I'm not the only one who doesn't really care about recruiting anymore. With these guys being permanent free agents
Fairly accurate assumption. I look much more at the big picture, e.g., are we getting enough projected to be top tier linemen or do we keep missing out on our top targets at a particular position or position group, etc. than at individual recruits. I do still think that having a fair amount of home-grown continuity on the lines, especially the O line, remains important even with the ability to fill gaps through the portal.

Fong Bomb in for OT Kavon Blackmon to OSU. Say's "I believe the Buckeyes are the clear leader" for him.
Also says he thinks OSU is the early leader for OT Antijuan Wilkes (who I've stated I think will be very hard to land).
Other top OL he thinks we have major traction for and should get visits from this fall are: OT Samuel Bailey, OT Koehn Dial, IOL Joey Fleming, IOL Grayson Williams, and IOL Bryce Smalls.

Tyler Bowen is a machine.

Antonio Thomas Jr. named Ohio State as a school who could shake up his recruitment, we haven’t offered yet but he said he’s definitely interested in visiting. Said he knows he has a high chance of making it to the league if he plays at Ohio State.

He’s teammates with #1 2029 CB James Allen who Wiltfong has Ohio State leading for.
