2024 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

After watching Bryce's interview posted above by pnuts34 I get the feeling he's all Buckeye. We in NE Ohio are so blessed to have great h.s.coaches like Ted Ginn Sr.in football and Dru Joyce Sr. in basketball that turn out quality young men every year that fill us with pride.

As posted on Bucknuts at the time in mid-January, the Buckeyes offered a scholarship to the country’s No. 1 class of 2024 tight end, Landen Thomas from Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County. The offer came from Ohio State offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Kevin Wilson.

“I was excited,” Thomas told Bucknuts at the time. “I’m interested in them.”

At the time Thomas also told Bucknuts he would definitely make a visit to Ohio State, probably sometime during the spring.

And Thomas, true to his word, has followed those comments up with a visit to Ohio State today and is not alone. Thomas and his his talented 2024 wide receiver teammate Ny Carr are currently in Columbus and on the Ohio State campus visiting the Buckeyes. And per Georgia recruiting insider Rusty Mansell, the Buckeyes have also now offered a scholarship to both Thomas and Carr with an offer to Carr today.

Thomas is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 32 overall prospect, the No. 1 class of 2024 tight end and the No. 7 prospect in Georgia.

Carr is a 6-foot-0 and 170-pound wide receiver that in addition to Ohio State has scholarship offers from Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, Penn State, USC and a number of others.

OU insider Parker Thune (Where was our favorite honk Brandon Drumm?) wrote this comment

" As far as OU targets from Florida, I expect five star wideouts Joshisa Trader and Jeremiah Smith to end up at Ohio State. Neither is particularly
high on OU ... or any school that isn't Ohio State for that matter."

Sounds like we're set at WR in 24, but let's remember that a lot can happen before 24 signing day.

I saw this quote on 11W, and thought about posting it, but there's so much time until the 2024 class signs
