2024 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

He won’t have to deal with the idiots threatening him or other assorted things fanatics say when a player decommits
It could go either way. He probably doesn't want to deal with the noise either way. Miami fans will call him a traitor if he goes through with it.. Ohio state fans berserk if he decommits. FsU fans will probably say something unless he goes to them. I don't envy kids dealing with that shit

Well the '24 class and portal just became pretty dang important with the mass exodus of players over the last 24 hours. Really need to hang onto Lyle now that Pryor and Miyan are gone. Scott, West and Lockhart should all be safe and good thing after Turner and J Brown are leaving in terms of depth...may want to look at a portal guy at CB for depth, especially if Hancock leaves. And at WR I had said we should be fine with the 3 we have in '24, but a portal guy might be smart after the Fleming transfer (was not expecting that one at all).

Meh, the only drama I see in this class is holding onto to JJ Smith, and hopefully closing with Seaton. All the players who left, left because they honestly would be passed up next year by younger talent.
RB is an easy position for a frosh to play, so I’m not concerned with losing Lyle to Miami, Peoples is a very talented RB, the jury is still out on SWD. 4 healthy RBs would be a solid RB room, especially since Day likes using his WRs in the run game. I honestly can see Hancock returning, I don’t see his draft stock being all that high. But if he were to bet on himself and enter the Draft, than the Portal will be hit. There’s a lot of talent there.

People's thoughts on Dillon Gabriel?
I see him as the opposite of McCord.
Solid runner, will get the tough yards on 3rd down or near the goal line. Good leader.
Accurate and consistent on short passes, but a bit of a noodle arm.
I see some say he has good, but not elite, arm strength. I just didn’t see it that way when watching Okie.

I don't think they will go after him, because he will expect to start and play a couple years, which would hurt Noland's recruitment.
