Hes already getting compared to Cooper after 1 loss? My god are our fanBase can go from 0 to delusional VERY quickly! 1 conference loss, and now he’s Cooper, 1 year removed from an NC appearance and he’s Cooper? Man, this is going to be a “fun” off season :no:
And Day also just secured the #4 class as well, and we’re supposed to be angry…

Most likely by people who never lived through the Cooper years. Let me tell you it wasn’t pleasant.

This is a golden age of Buckeye football, but we have a fan base that wants to bench a QB who ended up in NY and a coach who has only lost 1 BIG regular season game.

Fucking people need to get a grip…..

Thank you! I became a fan during the beginning of the Cooper years, and my God were those years brutal and heart wrenching! And we didn't have nearly the amount of talent that we do now. Day is in year 3, and is doing an amazing job, especially with all of the generational changes that are occurring in CFB. I'll put it like this, he's been HC for 3yrs, and his worst year hell be in the Rose Bowl after 2 consecutive CFP appearances and 2 B1G championships. He's doing alright

I hear you on the quality over quantity. But we NEED quantity too! Our DL is crazy thin already, and 2DEs and 2 LBs won’t cut it without some much needed transfers.

But from his past, it doesn’t look like Knowles is much of a recruiter. Or it could mean more about where he was in his previous stops. Coombs’ strong suit was actually recruiting. That’s why we lost our best CBin Brooks, because it doesn’t look like we’re retaining Coombs. I’d actually like to retain Coombs for his recruiting and have him focus solely on DBs.

This to me is the interesting quote. We currently have 18; I take more than 20 as 21 or more. That means we sign at least 3 more. Crootin' being Crootin' (and it somehow managed to get even crazier this cycle) ... how can one expect anything, let alone signing 3 more this late in the cycle? Don't we "have a standard to uphold", and "only recruit people who want to be buckeyes"?

Unless, Coach Day knows something that we don't, but he just can't say it yet?

The optimist in me thinks we close with at least 3 out of Kanu, Miller, Abor, and Hinzman.
